‘Express Management’ Hanwha’s Moon Dong-ju to make his final appearance of the season against LG Electronics on September 2… AG prep mode for September

Hanwha’s top prospect Moon Dong-ju (20) will make his final regular-season appearance for Jamsil LG Electronics on March 2, barring a rainout.

Hanwha officials and manager Choi Won-ho confirmed the news ahead of the team’s game against Gwangju KIA on May 25. Hanwha started the season with a full-time manager and placed an innings limit (around 120) on Moon. The reasoning was that he had a lot of lingering injuries from last year, and they didn’t want to overwork their top prospect, who had never started full-time before.

Moon had an 8-7 record with a 3.38 ERA in 21 games until the game against KT on the 18th. He will finish the season against the Gwangju Hanwha on the 27th and then against the Jamsil LG Electronics on the 2nd. He has pitched 109⅓ innings. If he pitches just six innings each in the remaining two games, he will reach just over 120 innings.

Of course, that’s assuming Hanwha stays on schedule with no rainouts. In any case, Hanwha will only utilize Moon Dong-ju for two more games before shutting him down for the season. With a postseason berth virtually out of reach, there’s no pressure. Hanwha will then switch to “Asian Games mode” for Moon Dong-ju.먹튀검증

“We’re going to try Nam Ji-min, Kim Ki-jung, and Kim Ki-jung,” said Choi Won-ho, who will replace Moon in the starting lineup for the remainder of the September-October schedule. As for Kim Seo-hyun, who was recently sent back down to the Futures, “I need to train more. If the second team says it’s okay, I’ll call him up. I have to report for a long time.”
