PSG continued to dominate and create chances. In the seventh minute of the second half, a pass from Hakimi found Vitinha in front of the penalty arc. The ball sailed just wide of the top left corner. We were forced to use a substitution. In the 24th minute, Vitinha and Asensio came off and Luis and Soler came on.

PSG failed to open up Lorient’s goal in a crucial chance. In the 31st minute, Lee cut in from the right flank to the center and played a transition pass. Soler then exchanged one-on-one passes with Ugarte. Soler’s cutback pass was met by a rushing Luis, but his shot was saved by the goalkeeper. In the 33rd minute, Soler sent in a cross from the left flank and Hamuth’s header went wide of the post.
